What If: Butter Yellow

This space has texture on every plane, for every sense; from the antique kilim, chalky quarry tile, rush seats, to of course the lacquered, butter yellow table.

The What If:

This kitchen nook was born out of love for this butter yellow fiberglass table. It’s feminine and subtly sculptural. I love the idea of it sitting in a sun-soaked kitchen nook.

Another What If:

What kitchen would be the jelly to this nook’s (peanut) butter? This space balances elegance with utilitarianism. A similar juxtaposition to the materials in the eating nook.

I wasn’t able to find the source for this kitchen image. If you know, let me know!
