A day on the river is by far my favorite way to spend a day. I look forward to it all week and my conscious stays there for hours afterward. There is something about flowing water that always feels rejuvenating. Our go-to spot this Summer was the Kinnickinnic. It flows right outside and through River Falls, Wisconsin. The water is crispy and clear. Jumping in feels like the first big gulp from a glass of ice cold water. There are a handful of houses on the banks that always have me back paddling. These pieces make me think of these days and those houses. The sofa reminds me of our friend’s raft that always carries their sweet babies and supplies. The eyelets and cords tie together natural canvas inflatable cushions. The Sawkille mirror, a favorite artisan, reminds me of the rocks and bluffs on the river banks.
